9 years

I can't remember the last time I celebrated Easter with my family. I want to say it has been close to 9 years, well its actually been that long since I have celebrated any holiday other than Christmas. I don't miss the drama that always comes with our family get together's but I do miss my family. As I have talked to my mom and sister 100+ times today I realize that it hurts knowing they are all together celebrating, talking and spending time with each other and then there is me in a far away land all by myself. Its not really all by myself, I have friends to spend time with but its not the same feeling as when you are with your real family.

It hurts when I call them, and they can't talk or they are busy. I know why but I want to also be in on the action I want to know what is going on.

Aw well, I need to get ready to go to church by myself...

grocery store...

Tonight I was at the grocery store, and I had my hand on a 2 liter of diet coke. I was trying to decide if I was going to use my coupon to get it tonite or the next time I go shopping. As my hand is on the 2liter a man comes up to me and starts looking at me.. he mumbles something and then I turn around.. He says "oh my gosh, your real, you are so beautiful I thought you were a display" LOL He stood there for a good 3 minutes just in awe! It made me smile :)

well well well...

its been a little while since I last updated. Although nothing really important has happened since the last time. I have just been busy with work, and a little bit of catering. It feels like these last few weeks of school are going to be super busy, which is good. Hopefully they will fly by. I am really looking forward to summer vacation. I can not wait to just relax and recover :) I really have no plans for the summer. I am not going anywhere, just putting around the house. and I am so excited!

18-22 students are doing a veggie lab.. taxes need to be sent in.. and hopefully I get my federal refund!

25-29 students have garde manger lab, big state assessment, cheer meeting, and PROM!

2-6 huge dinner for 200+ plus a catering gig for a graduation party.

9-13 cheer try outs, party on the patio

16-20 seniors take finals

23-26 rest of students take finals, graduations, LAST DAY OF 2010-2011 school year :)
